Biogas
Biogas is a flammable gas produced by the anaerobic digestion or fermentation of organic matter.
The process can proceed at 30-40 °С (mesophilic technology) or at 55 °С (thermophilic technology).
The composition of biogas may vary depending upon the origin of the anaerobic digestion process.
Typical biogas composition:

Biogas can be used as a fuel to generate thermal, steam or electric power. The heat value is about
6000 Cal (25000 kJ)/m3, depending on the feedstock and technology, wich is the equivalent of 0,6l of fuel oil.
